I had a client that wanted to take an aggressive stand with her real estate business and claim significant business losses that are typically limited to $25,000. I discussed with her, the option of being treated as a real estate professional. I explained and we followed the IRS guidelines. The business claimed close to $50,000 of losses. One of all my real estate clients, she was the only one allowed to be treated as a real estate professional because of her desire to utilize an aggressive strategy followed by strong will to meet all of the requirements. Client was happy and I am confident the return was done with professional diligence in mind.

How has virtual accounting been a great fit for clients?
I think there is a huge demand for tax advisory as new businesses are born every day. Virtual accounting offers affordable and convenient services for average Americans. Lots of small businesses are failing in their early years primarily because they don’t have any business or accounting education. We are here to educate those small businesses and guide them on the right path.
