Learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
What is the toughest accountant problem you’ve tackled? How did you handle it? How did you overcome the challenge?
One of the biggest challenges I have encountered throughout my career is helping clients understand that owing tax does not necessarily mean there was a mistake with their tax returns. A lot of the times there are really good reasons why this happens. The best way to handle it is to help the clients plan into the future to prevent this from happening again or helping them lower their tax burden as much as possible with exploring other options.
How do you define success?
Success is waking up every morning knowing that your dreams are closer than yesterday.
Why do you love working for 1-800Accountant?
1-800Accountant has allowed me to help business owners of all shapes and sizes across a diverse range of industries.
How has virtual accounting been a great fit for clients?
Virtual accounting has allowed many business owners to meet with an accountant and stay compliant with federal and state rules during this unprecedented time in history when social distancing is being highly encouraged. This is a big win for technology and I can see this influencing how people interact with their accountants in the near future.
