What is the toughest accountant problem you’ve tackled? How did you handle it? How did you overcome the challenge?
In general, the toughest problem is dealing with unhappy clients. i.e. in my first month at 1-800Accountant, I had a client who requested another bookkeeper because I sent him so many questions on his transactions. Apologized & explained why I needed to know his transactions to avoid any red flags. Reached out to the client and asked him to allow me to complete one quarter before requesting to assign him a new bookkeeper. So far, I have been doing his books and payroll since 2015.
How do you define success?
I define personal success as having peace of mind and being happy on my achievements big or small. Success at work means achieving balance between customer satisfaction and meeting company goals.
Why do you love working for 1-800Accountant?
It is the teamwork that I love most. I started at 1-800Accountant with zero experience on tax preparation but the team made it easy for me. I cannot imagine myself working in a completely different environment.
