    Washington businesses might pay employment taxes, a business & occupation tax, a sales tax, and more. Unlike other states, Washington does not have a corporate income tax or personal income tax.

    Washington’s self-employment tax of 15.3% covers Social Security and Medicare.

    There is a $180 fee to file your Certificate of Formation via post mail and $200 if you choose to file online. There are additional fees for LLC name registration and expedited processing.

    Washington LLCs must file an Annual Renewal with the state each year, which costs $60.
